City of San Bruno receives Graniterock award of excellence
Posted by Robert Ellenwood on Nov 2, 2018
Talking about cold in-place recycling, recycled asphalt, rubberized asphalt, Caltrans specs and job safety at the Graniterock Pavement Tech Talk today. The event includes celebrating one public works agency for its commitment to maintaining the streets we drive every day.
This year, the Graniterock award of excellence goes to a city that has shouldered more than just bumps and potholes. The city of San Bruno is receiving the award for using CIR to rebuild their Crestmoor neighborhood destroyed by PG&E explosion in 2010, which provided quicker results at a savings for taxpayers. We know it's been a long road to recovery, congratulations!
