Graniterock joins effort to help the needy this holiday season
The parking lot of the Monterey Peninsula branch bustled Dec. 11 with holiday cheer during KSBW's annual Share Your Holiday fundraiser with the Salvation Army.
Cars streamed in to the branch throughout the day with trunks full of items to donate to struggling families.
Hundreds of toys, food items and cash were dropped off to help the less fortunate this Christmas season and folks got to grab some on-air time with sportscaster Dennis Lehnen.
In all, KSBW raised $177,000 in cash donations, which is a 10 percent jump from 2014.
A huge thanks to all of the Graniterock People who joined the effort.
