Mann Achieves Corporate Real Estate Designation

Company Recognizes Professional Achievement

Christopher Mann, Director of Real Estate Services for Watsonville, California, based Graniterock, has recently achieved the Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) professional designation through CoreNet Global, a worldwide corporate real estate organization dedicated to best practices for management of corporate real estate. Mann completed the two year program early in 2008, scoring at the 99th percentile of the 2008 MCR class.

Mr. Mann has been with the Company since 2000. He is a fifth generation Watsonville native and graduated from Santa Clara University. Christopher has been a real estate professional for over 20 years.

Graniterock was founded on Valentine’s Day of 1900, when its first operation, the A.R. Wilson Quarry, was opened in Aromas, and soon became a heavy engineering contractor. Its California Contractor’s License—#22—demonstrates how long the Company has been in business. Plant and branch locations include Aromas, Cupertino, Felton, Hollister, Monterey Peninsula, Oakland, Redwood City, Salinas, Santa Cruz, San Jose, South San Francisco, and Turlock. Graniterock’s Pavex Construction Division operates from area offices in Redwood City, San Jose, Oakland, Turlock, and Watsonville, and performs large work such as highway or runway expansion projects, as well as commercial and residential projects. The Company’s Corporate Offices have been located in Watsonville since 1900.
