Compliance Magazine Recognizes Safety Training Programs

RICHMOND, Va.—Compliance Magazine announced the results of its first annual Excellence in Safety Training Awards, which recognize best practices in safety training. Training programs developed by vendors in the safety training marketplace, as well as programs developed by in-house corporate training teams were eligible.

Andrew Dwyer, publisher, Compliance Magazine, says, “The safety profession continues to recognize that worker involvement is critical to effective safety programs. Safety training is the seed for employee involvement and the Excellence in Safety Training Award honors those programs that inform employees and bring them together to work in groups to protect themselves against hazards in the workplace.”

The Excellence in Safety Training Award will be presented to the following organizations at the National Safety Congress on November 6, 2006, in San Diego.
