The river run describes the unique experience that awaits as you meander through a working sand and gravel quarry. Participants can choose a 1 mile Family Fun Run or 5K walk/run. The events take you inside the Southside Sand and Gravel Quarry to see the working quarry site, the banks of the San Benito River, specialized equipment that processes the rock and beautiful natural surroundings. The River Run 2021 benefits the YMCA of San Benito and begins at 8:00 a.m. on race day at 5632 Airline Highway, Hollister, CA 95023. Join us after the races for a Health Expo and Quarry Open House.
