Moses Cuprill Becomes A Certified Technician

ACI Designates Local Businessman

Moses Cuprill, Research and Technical Services of Graniterock in Watsonville, CA, has been certified as Concrete Laboratory Technician—Grade I. This certification required that he successfully pass a performance exam and a 100-question, closed book written exam covering twelve ASTM test methods on laboratory testing of aggregates and hardened concrete. CCRL performs an on-site audit of the Graniterock Research and Technical Services (RTS) concrete laboratory (quality system, laboratory equipment, and personnel training and testing competency) biennially.

“Moses’ certification partially fulfills requirements needed for RTS to maintain its AASHTO Concrete accreditation in good standing, and helps assure Graniterock’s concrete customers that we are appropriately qualified to monitor concrete quality control,” said Steve Ragan, RTS Manager.

Mr. Cuprill has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo. He has been with Graniterock since 2003.
