Graniterock To Be Honored At Monterey County Business Council Gala

Council Presents Bruce W. Woolpert Annual Building Award


The Monterey County Business Council has chosen Graniterock to receive the 2011 Economic Vitality Award for Building. The Economic Vitality Award is presented annually by the Monterey County Business Council to businesses and individuals that have made significant contributions to specific economic areas.

Recipients will be honored at the Council’s 15th Annual Gala & Economic Vitality Awards, February 5, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Monterey. Bruce W. Woolpert, President and CEO of Graniterock, will accept the award for Graniterock. Bruce W. Woolpert is President and CEO of Graniterock. Bruce received his undergraduate degree from UCLA and his MBA from Stanford. He served on the Panel of Judges for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, serving as Panel Chair in 1996. Bruce is now involved in applying Baldrige approaches to public schools, and is a founding member of the Center for Baldrige in Education.
