Graniterock grabs another piece of the hot housing market

The Bay Area’s red-hot housing market hasn’t let up, allowing Graniterock’s concrete team to continue snapping up big foundation jobs.

The team started Nov. 4 on another apartment complex in downtown Redwood City, this time working with Jos. J. Albanese Company, to provide 8,000 yards of concrete for the foundation of a five-story building with a two-level underground parking garage at 439 Fuller St.

“This is a good project for us, close to our plant,” sales representative Zack Booth said. “This is the first major pour we’ve had with Albanese, which we appreciate.”

The 133-unit Fuller Street Apartments, being built by SBI Builders, is part of the Grand Boulevard Initiative to revitalize Redwood City’s El Camino corridor.

The building includes a leasing office, clubhouse, fitness center, landscaped courtyard, dog park and expansive roof deck with views of the San Francisco Bay.
