We start with our Santa Cruz Root Zone Sand and further refine it to create Bunker Sand to meet the exacting standards of golf course superintendents. This product is ideal for bunkers located close to greens. Santa Cruz Bunker Sand meets USGA particle size specifications for this application. The penetrometer value is 2.35 kg/cm². The crusting value is “moderate” and the infiltration rate is 28.5 inches/hour.
