Job Duties
Support Customer Service Team by providing superior service to internal and external customers; load customer trucks, railcars, blend and move material. Work closely with Secondary Team and RTS to ensure products are within specification and meet customer expectations. Must be courteous and helpful with truck drivers and anticipate their needs. Support Secondary and Rail Team by helping to maintain production goals and timely loading of railcars. Be part of the effort to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Must be willing to learn and be capable of performing plant operator and brakeman positions. Knowledgeable in accurately and efficiently loading trucks and must be able to quickly and safely load trucks with maximum gross capacity. Understand how to use computer to access GX2 loading information. Work with and communicate with Weighmasters at main scalehouse. Familiar with Graniterock products. Observe all Graniterock policies and procedures; Safe Work Practices; and work towards continuous improvement in each of the nine Corporate Objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Skills: Ability to operate loader, blade, and skid steer; work safety; provide excellent customer service skills and be self-motivated. Some computer knowledge. Able to communicate in Spanish a plus.
- Experience: 5–7 years of experience running mobile and stationary equipment and providing customer service.
Desired Qualifications
- Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience: 8+ years loader operator experience.
Other Comments
Able to work flexible hours and some weekends. Must have valid CA Driver’s License and clean driving record.
