Pebble Beach Sea Wall

Building sea walls at Pebble Beach to restore a total 3355 square feet of beach front property. The project involves building an upper wall 169 linear feet and a lower wall 480 linear feet to handle both the ocean erosion and support the existing Pebble Beach facilities. A combination of soil nails, helical anchors and tiebacks were used in the structure and then a rock facia was applied to enhance the natural look of the walls. Among the many challenges on the job, the biggest was beating the tides.
