New student housing at San Jose State starts with GRC concrete
Graniterock’s concrete team is helping San Jose State University meet student demand for on-campus housing by providing 8,000 yards of concrete for Campus Village Phase 2.The new 850-bed residence hall will be located on campus at Ninth Street and Paseo de San Carlos.
The 10-story building includescommon study rooms, a lounge, multi-purpose room, recreation room and other support spaces.
Graniterock is working with Largo Concrete to supply the materials.
The project is scheduled for completion in summer 2016.
