Graniterock Announces Date For Construction Career Day

Local Company Hosts Annual Job and Educational Opportunities Fair


Graniterock is hosting theFifth AnnualConstruction Career Day on Friday, May 4, 2012 at its A.R. Wilson Quarry in Aromas. This dayisdesigned for Santa Cruz County high schoolstudents, and will highlight the many varied and interesting career paths the construction industry has to offer.

The day will begin promptly at 9 a.m. with a tour of the Quarry. Vicki Narciso, a senior estimator at Graniterock’s Pavex Construction Division, willaddress the students, followed by presentations from over25 different professionals representing various constructionand green buildingoccupations. The day will conclude at 1:30 pm.
