Graniterock Announces Construction Career Day 2010

Progressive Local Company Highlights Job and Educational Opportunities in Construction and Green Building


Graniterock is again hosting a Third Annual Construction Career Day on Friday, May 14, 2010 at its A.R. Wilson Quarry in Aromas. This day is designed for Santa Cruz County high school students, and will highlight the many varied and interesting career paths the construction industry has to offer.

The day will begin promptly at 9:00am with a tour of the Quarry. Bruce W. Woolpert, President and CEO of Graniterock, will address the students, followed by presentations from over 25 different professionals representing various construction and green building occupations. The day will conclude at 1:30pm.

Graniterock has been headquartered in Watsonville, California, since its founding in 1900.
