Graniterock Announces Construction Career Day

Graniterock announced today that they are hosting a Construction Career Day on Friday, May 9, 2008 at its A.R. Wilson Quarry in Aromas. This day designed for Santa Cruz County high schools, and their ROP Programs in particular, will highlight the many varied and interesting career paths the construction industry has to offer.

The day will begin promptly at 10 am. Bruce W. Woolpert, President and CEO of Graniterock, will address the students, followed by presentations from over 15 different construction professionals in representing various construction occupations. A tour will follow and the day will conclude at 1 pm.
