Job Duties
Primary responsibilities are to provide support for the Central Scheduler/RO&E Dispatcher, and the Weighmaster at the Redwood City Asphalt Plant. Develop the schedule for Northern Road Materials Asphalt plants, Spreader Trucks, Graniteseal deliveries, aggregate and asphalt deliveries, and deliveries for all other products carried by the branch. Complete scheduling/delivery paperwork on a daily basis. Assist the Weighmaster with checking trucks in and out. Provide assistance with traffic control in the yard, Notice of Sales (NOS) data entry and daily report tracking. Work safely at all times. Supports the Company’s nine Corporate Objectives and participate in meeting and exceeding Northern Road Materials Baseline Goals.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Skills: Ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment. Work safely in a high traffic environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills; Microsoft Excel and Word and data entry experience.
Experience: Experience in Asphalt or construction related dispatch or sales preferred.

Desired Qualifications

Education: Some college level computer and marketing/sales courses.
Skills: Bilingual in English/Spanish; Microsoft Access, GX2, Pearl programs.
Experience: 1+ years Dispatch and Weighmaster experience preferred.

Other Comments

Must be able to work day or swing shifts. Must have valid CA Driver’s License and clean driving record.
