Project Engineer Intern Description
Graniterock Engineering Department—Watsonville
Job Duties
Manage engineering project activities associated with development and construction of facilities for concrete/asphalt production and aggregates mining & production to include: feasibility studies; project definition, design and engineering; cost estimation; scheduling; bid package preparation and solicitation; purchase order preparation; agreements and contracts development; fabrication inspections; directing construction; cost tracking and analysis; cost reports and project progress.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Current Civil/Mechanical Engineering student.
- Skills: Excellent communication and time management skills. This is an environment in which outstanding team results are expected and high energy is required. Ability to read blueprints, use contracting software and have knowledge of construction equipment and materials (interns will learn these skills).
Other Comments
Must have valid CA Driver’s License and clean driving record.
